XipLink Appoints Technology Industry Veteran
Warren Brown as Senior Vice President of Marketing

February 25, 2009 (Montreal, QC) – Xiplink, the technology leader for standards based wireless bandwidth optimization software and appliances, today announced it has named Warren Brown as the company’s new senior vice president of marketing. Mr. Brown, a veteran of The Boeing Company, Iridium Satellite, iDirect Technologies and most recently vice president of strategic communications for Deltek Inc. has considerable experience in satellite, software and aerospace markets, which is an ideal background for XipLink’s wireless optimization technology. Additionally, Mr. Brown will oversee XipLink’s Sales and Marketing headquarters site in Reston, Virginia as General Manager of that facility.

In his previous role at Deltek Inc., a project-based enterprise software provider, Warren was responsible for promoting the company’s image globally. Among many key efforts, Warren was responsible for guiding the company’s image through the Initial Public Offering phase which garnered greatly increased awareness and resulted in a globally recognized marketing communications award.

Prior to Deltek, Warren was the vice president of marketing for iDirect Technologies, a leading provider of satellite-based broadband access solutions, and was responsible for driving the successful development, strategy and execution of the company’s overall marketing efforts. Previously, Warren was responsible for the marketing and corporate communications at Iridium Satellite, a leading provider of global mobile satellite voice, paging and data solutions. Warren also had an extensive career with The Boeing Company where he was the director of advertising and international public relations. He was a key individual in the launch of multiple product and corporate awareness campaigns for The Boeing Company after its merger with McDonnell Douglas in 1997. He has also worked as the executive vice president and board member for Inflightonline, an aviation-based communications start-up company and spent several years in senior level positions within the advertising industry.

Warren holds a B.A. degree in communications from California State University Long Beach and an M.B.A. degree in business communications from Almeda University. He is a member of the American Marketing Association and The International Ad Council.
